Each one of these content types has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/381435875695118\/?helpref=hc_fnav&amp;bc[0]=Instagram%20Help&amp;bc[1]=Instagram%20Features\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">requirements<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that have to be met before you can successfully upload it to your Instagram account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The requirements are as below<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For IGTV:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Video duration has to be at least 1 minute long<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The maximum length can be 15 mins (when uploading from a mobile device) or 60 mins (when uploading from the web)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can upload in 9:16 aspect ratio <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(1080 pixels x 1920 pixels) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Vertical video) or You can upload in 16:9 aspect ratio (1920 x 1080 pixels) (Horizontal video). Head over to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/instagram-video-maker\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instagram Video Maker<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Animaker and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.animaker.com\/register\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sign up<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for a free account.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3504\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2880\" height=\"1800\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. After logging in, you will be redirected to the application\u2019s <\/span><b><i>Dashboard.<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Under the section <\/span><b><i>Create Project<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you can see the different types of projects that can be created using Animaker.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3509\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image21-23-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. To create an Instagram Story, IGTV, or Reels, click on the <\/span><b><i>Vertical video<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You will be prompted to choose between a blank canvas and templates to create your video. Since we are planning to customize our YouTube video into an Instagram Story video, click on the <\/span><b><i>Blank option<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3511\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image52-25-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. On choosing the <\/span><b><i>Blank option<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a new blank project will open in the application. This is the interface of the Animaker app where you can edit and repurpose your videos.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3513\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image19-27-min-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2039\" height=\"1167\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. Towards the left-hand side, is the <\/span><b><i>Library section<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You will find the <\/span><b>Upload<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> option at the bottom of it. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you click on it, you can select and upload the YouTube video you want from your PC.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note: YouTube videos are of horizontal video format with 16:9 ratio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3514\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image38-29-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2041\" height=\"1167\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6. After uploading, clicking on the video <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will automatically convert it into a vertical video and fit inside the workspace<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Once you click on the video in the workspace, you will notice a set of options. This is called the <\/span><b><i>Item menu<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and it gives us the options to edit the video.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3515\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image30-31-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2035\" height=\"1159\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7. While the video changes from horizontal to vertical video format, certain parts of the video may get cropped because of the change in the aspect ratio. But do not worry. You can always use the <\/span><b><i>Resize<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> feature from the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Item Menu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and adjust the specific part of the video that has to be visible.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image23-33-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2037\" height=\"1166\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resize<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> option and you will be able to control the part of the video that will appear within the workspace.<\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3516\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image50-35-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2032\" height=\"1150\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But if you want to totally avoid the video getting cropped, use the Resize option to reduce the size of the video and keep it at the center of the workspace and then click apply.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3517\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image51-37-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2039\" height=\"1155\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image37-39-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2035\" height=\"1163\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now you can use the space above and below the video to add a Title text or a call to action text. But before adding text, let&#8217;s change the background color to make the video look better. To change the color of the background, click anywhere on the white region of the workspace and you can see a new color palette option appearing at the bottom.<\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3519\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image18-41-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2039\" height=\"1160\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the edit option over it, and choose the new color that you want to add to the background. Click the green tick icon to apply. In our case, we are choosing the Black color for the background.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3520\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image11-43-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2041\" height=\"1163\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8. To add text, click the <\/span><b><i>Text <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">section on the library. From this section, you can choose a blank text box or pick from a list of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pre-built text designs<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that come with pre-applied animation effects.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3521\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image44-45-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2040\" height=\"1161\" \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nLet&#8217;s see how to use one of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">text boxes <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to add text to the video. Just click on one of the plain text boxes you like, and it will appear in the center of the workspace. To edit the text, click over it again and type in the new text. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since we want to drive traffic to our YouTube video from our Instagram story, let\u2019s use<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SWIPE UP&#8221; as the call to action text to this video.<\/span><\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image15-47.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"821\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have typed \u201cSwipe Up\u201d in the text box, click on the settings option that appears on the right side. Using the options available in the settings menu, you can change the font style, color, spacing, and even the transparency of the text. Let\u2019s change the font style and font color for better visibility and keep it at the bottom of the workspace.<\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3524\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image27-49.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1439\" height=\"819\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will also notice a purple bar in the timeline. You can just drag and adjust its length to control the duration for which the text will appear on this story video. For example, If I want the text to appear after the first two seconds, I have to drag the left edge of the purple bar and move it to the 2s mark on the timeline.<\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3525\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image24-51.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"820\" \/> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, you can control the entry time and exit time of any text using the edges that are available at both ends of the purple bar.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The next step after this is to add entry and exit effects for the \u201cSwipe Up\u201d text we just added to our project.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To do this, head over to the bottom section of the settings menu. <\/span><\/span>The two options \u2018Enter effect\u2019 and \u2018Exit effect\u2019 let you add enter and exit animation effects to your text. Click on the enter effect option and you can find more than 50+ different text animation effects that can be applied to this text. Here we are selecting \u201cPop left\u201d as the Enter effect for the text.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3523\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image16-53.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"821\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After applying the enter effect, you will notice a new pink-colored part within the purple bar in the timeline. This will let you control the duration of the text\u2019s Enter effect. In the same way, we can apply an Exit animation effect for the text. But for this text, we don\u2019t want any exit animation effect so we are not choosing any effect.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3526\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image40-55-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2040\" height=\"1163\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now let\u2019s add an icon to compliment the \u201cSwipe Up\u201d CTA text. We can use the properties option from the library section to add an arrow icon. Also, let\u2019s apply a suitable Enter effect like \u201cPop Top\u201d, to the arrow, to make it more engaging for the audience.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nSimilar to how we adjusted the time of entry for the swipe-up text, you can use the purple bar in the timeline to adjust the duration at which the arrow will appear in the video. And similar to the Swipe up text, use the right edge of the pink bar to adjust the Enter effect duration of the arrow.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3575\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/image47-57-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2039\" height=\"1165\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3591\" src=\"https:\/\/www.animaker.com\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Untitled-design.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2880\" height=\"1800\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now let&#8217;s also add a Title for this Instagram story. Let\u2019s type the YouTube video\u2019s title <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 Most Scenic Sunsets on the West Coast \u201c and place the text box at the top of the video.
